Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 3, 2026

Outer Relay Uploader is a private application used by its owner to upload video content to YouTube using Google OAuth 2.0 and the YouTube Data API.

Google user data accessed

The application may access the Google/YouTube authorization information and YouTube permissions necessary to upload videos and associated metadata to a YouTube channel that the account owner explicitly authorizes.

How data is used

Google user data is used only to authenticate authorized requests and perform YouTube upload operations requested by the application owner.

Storage

OAuth credentials, including refresh tokens where applicable, may be stored on systems controlled by the application owner so that authorized uploads can continue without repeated sign-in. These credentials are not intentionally made public.

Sharing and sale of data

Outer Relay does not sell Google user data. Google user data is not shared with third parties except as necessary to communicate with Google and YouTube APIs to provide the application's upload functionality.

Data retention and deletion

Authorization credentials are retained only while needed for the application's operation. Access can be revoked at any time through the Google Account permissions page, after which stored authorization credentials should no longer be used.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Outer Relay's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Contact

Questions about this policy may be directed through the support contact listed on the application's Google OAuth consent screen.
